I have always wanted to be a vet; I never went through the firemen, policemen, pilot, doctor phases as a kid but as far back as I can remember all I wanted to do when I grew up is work with animals, and now here I am. I qualified as a vet from Onderstepoort in 2010 and worked at two other practices before joining the amazing team at Waterkloof Animal Hospital in 2016. My favourite part of being a vet is definitely surgery; there is something immensely satisfying about fixing what is broken or removing what is causing pain or disease. And now as co-owner I’m excited and passionate about growing and modernizing Waterkloof Animal Hospital into the best family vet practice it can be. I have an amazing wife, Kayleigh, and love spending time playing with our children, Zachary, Nathan and Hannah. I also love being in the bush or at the coast when I get the chance to have time off.
